In this blog, I am to share with you all my top Indian Designers which I believe we should definitely check in 2022.
1. Sabyasachi Mukherjee
Obviously, this list could not start with anyone else but him. I believe everybody is a fan of his collection, vision and definition of style.
I think it’s every Indian girl’s dream to be Sabyasachi Bride. Once he said – “I believe that clothes should be just an extension of one’s intellect” and that has definitely left an impression in my mind
He has comprehensive flagship and tertiary stores from where our merchandise is currently retailed. You can also follow him on social media to stay updated about all his collections.
2. Payal Singhal
Payal Singhal created her first couture look at the young age of 15. Her talent received much adulation as she was awarded the ‘Designer of the Year Award’ by Shopper’s Stop, and her winning look was worn by then Miss World Aishwariya Rai Bachchan.
Payal Singhal is a leading South Asian fashion house established in 1999. The focus is on modern Indian bridal and occasion wear laden with global appeal.
Her statement pieces are mirrorwork belts, cowl pants with short satin salwar, spunky Jumpsuits, lehengas with leather godets and lyrca suits.
3. Anita Dongre
Anita Dongre has a lot to offer to the Industry. She founded in 1995, House of Anita Dongre includes four separate brands: AND, a western wear brand; Global Desi, a contemporary line; Grassroot; a sustainable luxury brand; and jewelry line Pinkcity.

4. Tarun Tahiliani
He is the one who has made ‘Ensemble’, India’s first multi-designer boutique possible with his wife Sailaja Sal. Currently, it has designs from Tarun Tahiliani, Payal Khandwala, Injiri, Vipul Shah, and Anamika Khanna.
He has also just launched his Spring-Summer ’22 collection ‘Here Comes The Sun’ that furthers the House’s code of delving into Indian crafts to reinterpret them for the present-day bride.
5. Falguni Peacock
Falguni Peacock’s audience includes National as well as international celebrities. Her signature style includes juxtaposing of feathers, sequins and prints, which has led her to create unique and unprecedented ensembles.
Falguni’s 2022 collection is a futuristic and flamboyant collection, aptly named ‘Earthbound’, it was inspired by Shane’s(her husband) avid interest in the possibility of life on other planets.
6. Manish Malhotra
Although he doesn’t need an introduction still I will go ahead with it. Manish Malhotra is a former Indian fashion designer turned costume designer and stylist, widely known for his works in Bollywood.
In January 2019, couturier to the stars, Manish Malhotra became the first Indian designer to introduce a complete range of beauty & color cosmetics with his exclusive, luxurious makeup line co-created with European beauty brand, MyGlamm.
